Questions

How do I scan a Pokémon card?

Open the scanner on your phone, line the card up inside the frame and tap the shutter. CardzScan reads the name and the collector number printed at the bottom of the card, finds the exact printing and shows its current value. It works in your browser — there is nothing to install.

Where do the prices come from?

Euro estimates come from Cardmarket; dollar estimates from TCGplayer when available. Coverage and update dates vary by source. Estimates are not adjusted for the language, condition, edition or foil finish of your copy.

Is the Pokémon card scanner free?

Yes — you get free scans every day and unlimited price lookups. CardzScan Pro removes the daily limit for big binder sessions and gives you full collection value tracking.

Can it tell different printings of the same card apart?

Yes. The collector number and set total printed on the card (for example 4/102) identify the exact set, so a Base Set Charizard is never confused with a Base Set 2 reprint. If a photo is ambiguous, you pick from the few matching printings.

Does it work with German, French or Italian cards?

Yes. The scanner reads the collector number and recognises local Pokémon names like Glurak or Dracaufeu, so European cards are identified correctly. Prices shown are for the English printing.

What's your binder worth?

Scan your cards, and CardzScan keeps a running total of your collection's value — in euros or dollars.
